The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, a leading educational institution in Israel in the fields of art, design, and architecture, boasts the status of the largest and oldest art institute in the country. Founded in 1906, the academy was originally located on one of the picturesque hills of Jerusalem, known as Scopus, but with the opening of a new building, it was moved to the historic city center.
The new academy complex, spanning 42,000 square meters and costing over $90 million, was designed by the world leader in architecture, the Japanese firm SANAA, winner of the renowned Pritzker Prize. With its unique architectural style, the new complex has become one of the most significant construction projects undertaken in Jerusalem in recent decades.
During the implementation of this ambitious project, Draftec provided its services in the field of BIM support during the design and construction phase. Our experience and professionalism helped make this landmark project more successful.
